| Member Announcement: January, 2011 - Laurie Venditti was hired as Project Manager of the MERLIN Project supporting the Syracuse Police Department, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department, Town/Village Police Departments, Upstate Police Department and the Onondaga County Department of Information Technology. MERLIN is the Multi-Agency Electronic Reporting Law Enforcement Information Network. The Onondaga County Department of Information Technology has for the past 25+ years developed and supported law enforcement systems serving mission critical systems used everyday by more than 62 law enforcement and public agencies throughout the County to share law enforcement records. With a law enforcement community of over 2500 officers, the newly developed MERLIN system will use an open architecture RMS framework developed by in-house staff from the Onondaga County Department of Information Technology. |
